Registration

2012 race registration will be available beginning April 1, 2012.

Onsite registration will be available from 4:00-7:00 Friday, July 6 at the Bentonville Parks and Recreation Downtown Activity Center in Bentonville.  Credit cards will not be accepted.  Onsite registration fees are $80 for individual, $135 for Teams  + USAT memberships:  $15 Annual Youth, $12 One Day Adult, $10 One Day Youth

Reigister for Shark Sprint Tri

The Shark “Super” Sprint will take place on Saturday, July 7 at the General Mills Kids and Family Triathlon in Bentonville, Ar.  Distances will be 200 yard pool swim, 6.2 mile bike on closed streets and a 1.2 mile paved path run.  This is a non-competitive division open to novice athletes age 16 and over that want to give it a “tri” in the triathlon world.  Minimal training is required.  A great bridge to competing in the Shark Sprint Triathlon.

 Events

The 2012 Shark Sprint race will be a 500 yard swim, 15 mile bike and a 3.1 mile run.

Awards will be based upon the following individual and team event categories:

Individual Categories:

  • Juniors (Male & Female): 13-15, 16-19
  • Adults (Male & Female): Five-year increments per USAT rules
  • Masters 40+ (Male and Female): First-place only
  • Grand Masters 50+ (Male and Female): First-place only
  • Senior Masters 60+ (Male and Female): First-place only
  • Clydesdale (200lb. +): 39 and under; 40+
  • Athena (150 lb. +): all ages

Team Categories (can be 2 or 3 member teams):

Packet Pickup

 Packet pickup will be available Friday, July 6, 2012, 4 - 7 pm and Saturday, July 7, 2012, 4 - 7 pm at Bentonville Parks and Recreation Downtown Activity Center, 215 SW A St, Bentonville, AR, 479-464-7275.


Race day packet pickup is available, however to better enjoy your race day experience, we strongly encourage you to make arrangements to attend packet pickup Friday or Saturday.
