July 8, 2012 Join us for the Shark Sprint Triathlon.  This exciting USAT sanctioned event will take place at Beaver Lake in Horseshoe Bend Park. Attracting first timers, relay-ers, and age group triathletes from around the state, region and country. The Shark Sprint Triathlon will take place Sunday, July 8, 2012. The Shark “Super” Sprint will take place on Saturday, July 7,2012 at the General Mills Kids and Family Triathlon in Bentonville, AR.  Distances will be 200 yard pool swim, 6.2 mile bike on closed streets and a 1.2 mile paved path run.  This is a non-competitive division open to novice athletes age 16 and over that want to give it a “tri” in the triathlon world.  Minimal training is required.  A great bridge to competing in the Shark Sprint Triathlon.  Health & Wellness Expo A Health and Wellness Expo will take place on Friday, July 6th and Saturday July 7th during packet pick-up 4-7pm at the Bentonville Parks and Recreation Downtown Activity Center.  For information on having a booth, contact sebclinard@cox.net.
